1995 - 2000

Laserite was launched and staffed with only one man from a borrowed space of no more than 25 square feet. Within three months we had grown enough to warrant our own premises, an industrial unit of 1,300 square feet located in Basildon, Essex.

At that time we secured exclusive distribution rights for an American manufactured Benchtop CO2 laser and very quickly established it as the UK's best selling system in its class. Sales of this machine escalated very well during the next 5 years and the brand is now known worldwide.

For the sub-con side of our business we invested in low power Nd:YAG marking lasers and additional staff for sales and for production, bringing the total number of staff to 4.
