Lotus Lasers LL6040
The Lotus LL6040 is a low cost entry-level system ideally suited to cutting applications. It also has the ability to raster engrave to very fine detail.
It has a component grade that is higher than other machines found in the entry-level price bracket. For example, it uses an all-metal THK type motion guide and a laser module that can be found on systems costing twice the price of the LL6040.
The generous work area of 600x400mm is more than 30% larger than most other entry-level systems. The lamella bed of the LL6040 is of a design similar to that of large industrial laser machines. It is significantly stronger, longer in working life and easier to maintain than a Honeycomb Cutting Table (HCT).
With a robust motion system, welded steel main housing and industrial grade castors the LL6040 is designed to be able to be wheeled from room to room via standard sized door access, so it's the perfect system to be used within a school, college or University.
Most suppliers restrict the software functionality interface for their entry-level machines but the LL6040 is controlled via the same fully featured, industrial grade software that is used to drive the higher-end Lotus Laser systems.
